Im Weißen Rössl is a German-Austrian comedy film from 1960 starring Waltraut Haas and Peter Alexander.
It is a film adaptation of the operetta Im weißen Rößl by Ralph Benatzky. The film was shot at the original locations on Lake Wolfgangsee in Austria. This film version is based on the operetta, but makes numerous changes. The action was thus moved to the present day, which made it possible for Sigismund Sülzheimer to arrive in a helicopter in front of the Hotel Weißes Rössl. Ottilie Giesecke was renamed Brigitte. The music ranges from authentic alpine music, played by Heurigen musician Anton Karas, among others, to modern arrangements by Heinz Gietz, which also include swing and pop elements.
